Rust Wingman - Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Rust Wingman (“the Service”), a Rust+ companion bot that connects your in-game Rust activities with Discord. By using Rust Wingman, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Rust Wingman, including its Discord bot, website, and backend services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Rust Wingman provides a companion service for the game Rust, allowing users to:

• Connect their Rust+ app and Discord account.
• Send and receive in-game notifications through Discord.
• Manage team or server data.
• Register and authenticate Rust+ connections.

The Service is not affiliated with or endorsed by Facepunch Studios Ltd. or any official Rust entity.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Rust Wingman.

By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

4. Subscriptions and Payment

Rust Wingman offers access via a subscription plan:

• £5 per month subscription.
• A free 3-day trial is available for new users.
• Payments are processed through our chosen payment provider. By subscribing, you authorise recurring payments unless you cancel your subscription before the next billing cycle.

All fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

5. User Data and Privacy

To function properly, Rust Wingman stores certain user data, including:

• Steam ID
• Rust+ authentication tokens
• FCM (Firebase Cloud Messaging) connection details

This information is used solely to enable the connection between Rust, Discord, and our backend systems.

We take reasonable measures to protect your data from unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.

Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more details on how your data is handled.

6. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use Rust Wingman only for lawful purposes and in compliance with Rust's and Discord's terms of service.
• Keep your authentication credentials secure.
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or resell Rust Wingman.
• Not use Rust Wingman for spam, harassment, cheating, or exploiting game mechanics.

Violation of these terms may result in suspension or termination of your access.

7. Availability and Modifications

We strive to keep Rust Wingman available and functional but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time without notice.

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with prior notice to existing users.

8. Intellectual Property

All code, branding, and content associated with Rust Wingman are the property of the Developer.

You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Rust Wingman is provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties of any kind.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free, secure, or compatible with all devices or versions of Rust or Discord.

Use of Rust Wingman is at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, the Developer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

This includes, but is not limited to, loss of data, account bans, or in-game penalties.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for:

• Breach of these Terms.
• Abuse of the Service.
• Fraudulent or unauthorised activity.

Upon termination, your access to Rust Wingman will be revoked, and associated data may be deleted.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UK courts.
