How to Pair a Smart Device
Pairing
To Pair a new smart device you need to ensure your FCM details are up to date, to ensure this is the case use the Rust Wingman Chrome plugin to set your latest login details.
Once you have your latest FCM login details, in game walk up to a tool with a wire tool in hand hold e and select pair with Rust+.
This will send a FCM notification, in game you will see messages appearing telling you how to pair the device.
Smart Alarms
The following options are available when pairing a Smart Alarm:
- !addalert {message} - When the smart alarm is triggered a alart message will be sent in game and to discord, the discord message will @everyone in the channel. The discord alert has a cooldown unless the whole team is offline or afk in which case it will keep sending tagged the whole team. e.g. !addalert Explosion roof - will send a discord message of @everyone explosion roof.
- !addsa {groupname} - When the smart alarm is triggered it will trigger the smart alarm group that is linked. e.g. !addsa roof - will trigger roof smart switch group.
Smart Switches
!addss {groupName} - The smart switch will be added to the group entered, multiple smart switches can be added to a group.
e.g. !addss s - this will put the smart switch in group s, you can then control the switch from in game or discord by using the following
- !s - Will toggle the state based on the first switch.
- !s on - Will turn all switches on.
- !s off - Will turn all switches off.
Note: that when multiple switches are on a group it cycles through them with a 1 second interval to trun on and off, so if you have 5 smart switches in a group it will take 5 seconds to turn them all off.
Smart Monitor
!addstorage {name} - This will register the monitor the name entered, name needs to be uniqueue.
The folloing command can then be used to access the storage:
- !liststorage - List all of the storage monitors.
- !checktc {name?} - Get the upkeep cost of the entered TC, if no name is entered it will get all.
- !upkeep {name} - Get the upkeep cost of the entered TC, if no name is entered it will get all.
